Rockstar now lists Grand Theft Auto VI for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This replaces the older release windows that circulated during the first two trailer campaigns.
The announced launch experience is single-player and follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos through a criminal conspiracy spanning Leonida. Rockstar has not announced a day-one PC edition or a GTA VI Online launch date.
Editions and pricing
The United States price for the standard edition is $79.99. Rockstar also announced a $99.99 Ultimate Edition built around additional vehicles, weapons, apparel, and story-linked extras.
Pricing and availability can vary by country and storefront, so the local PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Store, or retailer listing remains the final authority.
- Standard Edition: the complete single-player game.
- Ultimate Edition: premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and additional content woven through Jason and Lucia's story.
- Vintage Vice City Pack: a pre-order collection inspired by the city's earlier neon era.
- Digital pre-orders include one month of GTA+ under the announced offer terms.
Pre-loading and physical copies
Digital pre-loading is scheduled to begin November 12, one week before launch. Rockstar's announcement also says the physical version becomes available that day and contains a download code inside the box, allowing the same pre-load window.
That means buyers should plan for a substantial download even when purchasing a boxed copy. Rockstar has not published a final installation size.
What remains unconfirmed
- A PC release date or PC system requirements.
- A standalone multiplayer release plan.
- Final download and installation sizes.
- Performance modes, frame-rate targets, and resolution targets for each console.
