Description
The Crowbar is a dual-purpose tool-weapon that bridges the gap between utility and violence in GTA VI's Leonida underworld. Useful for prying open crates, popping locked doors during low-tech break-ins, and cracking skulls when things go sideways, the crowbar is a staple of blue-collar crime. It's the kind of thing you'd find in Jason's truck bed long before you can afford a suppressed pistol.
Design
A classic forged-steel crowbar with a curved nail-pulling head and flat pry end. The matte black or rust-red finish gives it a well-used industrial look that fits Leonida's construction yards and port districts.
Performance
The crowbar delivers solid per-hit damage with decent speed, sitting between the bat's power and the knife's quickness. Its overhead swings are effective at staggering opponents, and it doubles as an environmental interaction tool for prying open certain containers and doors.
Customization
N/A - no known cosmetic variants; it's a raw tool.
Locations
Commonly found at construction sites around Port Gellhorn, industrial parks in Grassrivers, hardware stores, and occasionally in the trunks of work trucks throughout rural Leonida.
Trivia
- The crowbar is one of the few melee weapons that may double as an interaction tool for prying open crates and doors.
- It has appeared in GTA games since Vice City, making it a fitting callback for GTA VI's return to the region.
- In GTA V, the crowbar was hidden behind a building in a nod to Half-Life - similar easter eggs may appear in Leonida.
- Construction workers in Leonida may drop crowbars when provoked, offering a free source of the weapon.
