Description

The Loot Bag is the essential carry equipment for any robbery in GTA VI, serving as the physical container for cash, jewelry, drugs, and other stolen goods during heist sequences. When you're cleaning out a Fleeca bank vault or scooping product from a cartel stash house in the Everglades, the loot bag is what stands between you and the score. Filling it up - and getting it to the getaway vehicle - is the core loop of Leonida's robbery missions.

Design

A heavy-duty black or dark green military-surplus duffel bag with reinforced canvas, double-stitched seams, and a wide zipper opening. Shoulder straps allow hands-free carry during firefights, though the bulging bag is clearly visible to NPCs and police. A smaller gym-bag variant exists for quick grabs.

Performance

The loot bag determines how much stolen property you can carry out of a score. When full, it visibly weighs down the character and may reduce sprint speed and climbing ability. Dropping the bag to fight is possible but risks losing loot if enemies or civilians grab it. Multiple bags may be needed for the biggest heists.

Customization

N/A - size variants (gym bag, duffel, heavy-duty) affect capacity.

Locations

Provided automatically during robbery missions, purchased cheaply at surplus stores and luggage shops across Vice City, and occasionally found pre-placed at heist staging areas by criminal contacts.

Trivia

  • The duffel bag was an iconic visual element in GTA V's heist missions - GTA VI expands it into an actual gameplay mechanic affecting movement and carry capacity.
  • Dropping a loot bag during an escape may trigger a unique NPC reaction where civilians attempt to grab it.
  • The bag's fill level is visually represented - an empty bag lies flat while a full bag bulges and shifts during movement.
  • In multiplayer heists, coordinating who carries the loot bags while others provide cover fire is expected to be a key strategic element.
