The Ruger-inspired Rifle is Leonida's everyman firearm - a lightweight rimfire plinker found in nearly every rural household, bait shop back room, and hunting lodge across the state. In GTA VI it serves as an early-access scoped option for players who haven't yet unlocked the heavier sniper platforms. While it won't drop armored cartel soldiers, it excels at quiet pest control, hunting challenges, and picking off unaware targets from a modest distance.
Design
Closely modeled on the iconic Ruger 10/22, this rifle sports a slim carbine barrel, a rotary or detachable box magazine, and a lightweight birch or synthetic stock that makes it easy to carry through Leonida's dense swampland. The overall profile is compact and unassuming - it looks more like a sporting goods purchase than a criminal weapon, which is part of its charm.
Performance
Damage is the lowest in the Sniper Rifles category due to its rimfire caliber, but the virtually nonexistent recoil allows for extremely fast follow-up shots.
