Beyond Vice City: Three Regions to Watch
Port Gellhorn's faded coast, industrial Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga's wilderness give northern Leonida its identity.
At a glance
- Port Gellhorn
- Faded coastal tourism and strip-mall sprawl
- Ambrosia
- Industrial and agricultural center
- Mount Kalaga
- Northern national park and wilderness
Three named regions push GTA VI into landscapes the 2002 version of Vice City could not offer. They also widen the game's social range, from worn coastal entertainment to factory power and isolated rural communities.
Rockstar has published postcards, screenshots, and regional descriptions for all three. Exact distances and map positions remain unpublished beyond Mount Kalaga's description as being on Leonida's northern fringes.
Port Gellhorn
Port Gellhorn is a resort economy after the shine has faded: cheap attractions, motels, empty storefronts, and hard-lived local spaces. Its visual identity suggests a city surviving on leftovers from better decades.
Ambrosia
Ambrosia centers on heavy industry and sugar production. The Allied Crystal refinery gives the region a named economic anchor, while biker and rural imagery point toward a side of Leonida far removed from beach tourism.
Mount Kalaga National Park
Mount Kalaga brings forests, rivers, rocky terrain, trails, and wilderness activity to the map. Official images show off-road vehicles and outdoor recreation, but survival mechanics and a hunting economy have not been announced.
