Summary
Map expansion adding traversable cranes, container yards, and shift interiors to Port Gellhorn without breaking traffic paths.
This package is authored for Grand Theft Auto VI only. It is not a GTA V conversion, does not install into GTAV directories, and will not run before the official Leonida PC release.
Highlights
- Traversable crane network
- Container parkour yards
- Night-shift interiors
- Streaming-safe traffic paths
Requirements
- GTA VI PC
- SSD mandatory
- 16 GB RAM
Overview
Port Gellhorn Expanded grows the industrial coast into a playground for vertical chases and stealth container runs. New interiors open on night-shift schedules. Cranes become climbable with safety cages and risky free-climb alternatives.
Streaming Design
Cells were authored to respect GTA VI streaming budgets. Traffic paths remain intact; new alleyways branch without orphaning AI nodes. Expect a one-time shader warm-up when first entering expanded cells.
Gameplay Spaces
Container mazes support Wanted escapes and Blueprint Forge scores. Crane tops are Solar Ascendant landing pads with unique vignette hooks if both mods are owned.
Interiors
Break rooms, customs offices, and a submerged maintenance tunnel unlock with simple diegetic keys - not collectathon spam.
Hazards
Moving containers, steam vents, and night workers who call security. Accessibility mode freezes container motion.
Installation
Huge pack - verify disk space. Load after game updates; rebuild path cache with the included tool.
Compatibility
Conflicts with other Port Gellhorn terrain rewrites. Visual props packs usually fine.
Future Docks
Post-launch plans: ferry terminal interior, storm-surge flooded basement (with Vice Storm), and a photo overlook.
Dock Survival
Cranes: cage climb when chased, free-climb when filming. Containers: learn one maze well instead of all. Night-shift interiors rotate keys - check lockers.
Pair with Infinity for crane-top federal drama, Ascendant for landing pads, Forge for container scores.
Streaming Ops
After game patches, rerun path cache. If traffic seizes, you skipped the cache tool. SSD is not optional at 2.1 GB of new cells.
Verticality Manifesto
GTA cities shine when you can climb. Cranes and containers are our thesis. Every climb path has a down path. Soft-locking players on gantries is a P0 bug.
Night lighting in new interiors prefers practicals - work lamps, vending glow - over neon vomit. Port is industrial, not clubland.
Patch Discipline
Map packs die when they skip cache rebuilds after game updates. Our tool is mandatory in the readme for a reason. If you ignore it, traffic seizes, and that is on the installer order - not on Rockstar.
